14 days post op!

so I am 14 days post op and feeling great my doctors appointment for post op is not until 12/6/2010 I know its not that far away I just feel like I am ready for the next step in my diet I'm on full liquids stage 1 and I think I should be on puree stage 2 but I'm not sure should I call the doctors office? I just feel sort of hungry is that normal i don't think the liquids are cutting it anymore.Any advise?

Hi honey. Yes personally 2 weeks on fluids sounds plenty to me. was on purees within 3-4 days but that's my hospital's regime. But I'd be ringing the docs. If you don't ask you won't know.

Well Done for stick with the liquid diet! Yes you definately need to get in touch with the doctors and get onto the soft foods by now.

you sound so ready for the next food stage, i was on puree by day 3, ring your team and ask if you can start trying the next stage, your looking really well in the picture, im now 19 days post op and still on a soft diet now x
