1st appointment since i was done lol

i have had my sleeve done since oct 15th nd have not had a follow up appointment or seen any1 since then but i ave a appointment 07th march with my surgeon and was just wondering if any1 knows what happens?? i no you are supposed to get a follow up appointment 6-8 weeks after your op but when mine came through it was for march but when i rang my surgeons secretary she said not worry so i havent, but now i am just wondering what happens haha x

It's just a general checkup. Weigh you, work out your BMI, figure out what percentage of your excess weight has gone. Look at your incisions, make sure they're healed. Give you an opportunity to ask any questions. No big deal.

Wow I had my op on 3/10 & have had 2 follow up appointments already. Another way some hospitals seem to let patients down, I guess. OK if you have no problems but some people just need the reassurance of a professional that all is well. Hope your appointment comes round quickly for you, hon xx

Were you done at Sunderland by any chance? I am on my phone n cant see if u have ur details filled out, reason I ask is I had my op in november and dont have my follow up till July luckily I've had no problems xx

yeah i was done at sunderland, i have had no problems with anything so not really fussed bout seeing any1 just gives me a excuss for time off work haha x

also sunderland had op June, follow up sept. some tiny problems so 2nd follow up was feb and third follow up is May.

they are mega busy and if things are going well you will probably have to wait for ya follow ups. anything going and riing them - they would bring it forward (at least in my experience anyway)
