1st day clear liquids!!!!

OMG, what a day!!!!!!

Does anyone know why some surgeons want you to do the clear liquid diet for 7 days???

Its pure torture...... Did low carb last week and then they want you do this liquid one week 2. 5 days to go

i bet it's is pure torture hun , i find it a bit hard just on the low carb diet i thought all spire hospitals follow the same diet sheet , i am on low carbs for two weeks and lost 10lb in the first week , hope you find a way to cope hun all the best xxx

That was ok Tracey, at least I could eat food!!!!! I only lost 6lb though, so worried as the surgeon said he expects 1-2stone off!!!!!

Day 2 and I am having a really bad time!!!
Despite telling myself its all going to be worth it, its pure torture. Especially when I have been doing some reading up and hardly anyone is put on this for 7 days and if they are they allowed slimfast or protein shakes...... And to top it off, I got on the scales and haven't lost another lb since last week, just a measly 6lb!!!!
I am really worried now.

So sorry to hear your having a bad time hunni , I just can't understand why the clear liquid diet after doing one week low carb diet and even more so we are both under spire hospital in merseyside , hope it gets a little better for you Hun ,

Tracy, I with Spire in Macclesfield thats why some stuff different.

Clear soup-no bits, bovril, oxo, water, NAS cordial, sugar free jelly, black tea, black coffee, thats about it!!!!
