Hi ALL
Thought id share my story so far, 3 days now post op from Gastric Bypass
went into hospital wanting a sleeve, got bypassed due to previous stomach
operation and surgeon finding a hiatus hernia in my stomach, had my op at
Queen Alexandra in portsmouth with Mr Shaw somers, i paid privately through
his own company streamline surgical, At Qa they have a lovely private ward
called the Harbour Suite, all nurses very good, but let me tell you the bed
mattresses are not made for us big boys and girls, came home with back ache
and consequence was i spent most of my time walking around the hospital at all hours, , but hey ho all done now and looking forward to quite a quick weight loss, Bmi was only 40.8, cause im a big framed man Mr somers seems to think that i will loose my weight in under 6 mths,
My main problem going forward will be getting the right protein in to my body
i do not take any milk or soy milk products without sickness always been an issue, How do i get my protein in at breakfast? what should i even eat for breakfast?
I am drinking plenty and getting enough fluids really do not need any painkillers , and was up taking my first walk 2 hours after surgery and was up for nearly 3 days, so had a good nights sleep in my own bed last night,
so looking forward was wondering if anyone can shed some light on my milk issue,
good luck to all,
