I received a letter in the post this morning from the Whittington Hospital which just confirms everything that the bariatric nurse did / said to me on 9 May my first follow-up appointment (all pretty boring and stuff I knew already, yada yada) etc .....
But MOST interesting thing on the letter was the new letter heading, which now lists 4 (four!) bariatric surgeons:
** Mr Pratik Sufi
** Mr Dugal Heath
** Mr Sakhawat Rahman
** Mr Mohammad Howlader
WOW !!
Some months ago when I was researching Mr Sufi before my own op one of the various google search results (something like "bariatric surgeon" + "Whittington Hospital") brought me up a link to an NHS advert where they were advertising a vacancy for a 3rd bariatric surgeon.
(I can't find it now, but it was one of those things that you click on and think, "Hmmm, interesting, but not what I was looking for" and unclick.)
