4th Band Fill 18/06 Woooooot!

I called my surgeon today to see if I could get another fill as for the past couple of days I have noticed I am hungrier and can manage a little more than usual...got a dat of 18th June!

Cool, so not long to wait...

yep it sounds like it just needs fine tuning to get to the sweet spot. x

And better to maintain than gain

Weight loss has slowed to a halt again, so will be mindful of portion sizes and do a little more exercise in the next few weeks to make sure I don't gain.

Glad you're getting your fill soon Caz. You've done so well so I know you'll maintain and not gain because you have so much will power.

You still get hungry but if you make sure you eat the protein first, the veg and carbs only if you can manage them, then hunger can be kept at bay till next meal.

I try to wait 4-5 hours between each meal. I drink water in between to keep hydrated and feeling fuller.

But sometimes in the afternoons I have a snack of some nuts and fruit.

Hi Cazbandy, Good luck with ur band fill, hope it does the trick for you!!
Could you tell me, how long has it been since your last fill??
I had my last fill 3 weeks ago and felt great restriction for the 1st week or so but now can eat larger portions again.
My surgeon won't see me again so soon as I brought my last one fowards as well

Hi there,

bands come in different sizes, from 7 ml to I think 14 or 15 ml, adjustments can be made up or down, so there are no set limits.

A band will be in for 15 years possibly, so it will need constant adjustments.
