Good on them but I don't think its going to be good for the children to have 'before' pics of the parents they were embarrassed about splattered all over the papers.
But well done with the wight loss.

Well done but i note yet again that the paper cocks the story up. One minute they've both had a bypass and then the paper mentions the gastric band... Does it tick the banders off as much as the bypassers when the newspapers mis report it?

I read this story a few weeks ago in my Take-a-break magazine. It particularly touched me as it was like reading a mirror image of my husband and family.

I hope I do as well as this lady has done when I get my bypass operation. My hubby has started loosing weight (4 stone now since Xmas) through cycling and being able to fit it in to his daily lifestyle. He is not interested in surgery to help him loose his excessive weight but is very supportive of my choice. I must admit I feel a pang of jealously seeing how fit he is getting in such a short space of time, and I get how this lady felt about her loosing weight before her husband lol!!
