Been for my 6 month check up today with Mr Sigurdsson at PRH, Telford.
He was really pleased with my progress so far, as I'm slightly ahead of the expected curve of losing one stone per month after RNY surgery.
He's happy with my eating, and although I've been suffering with some sickness after eating over the past couple of weeks, he thinks that this is due to a bacterial throat infection I've had. He did say though that if it continues, he'll get me in for an endoscopy, but doesn't think it will come to that. Here's hoping!
So, I'm off the hook with the surgeon until my 12 month check, he just wants me to keep doing what I've been doing so far and keep taking the prescribed meds.
I've also weighed in today and have now lost 125lbs since the start of my journey, so all-in-all, it's been a good day
