6 month on

hi been to gp today for 6 month blood test results.

I am officially not diabetic any more been taken off register.
My colestrol is now 4.1 doc said lowest he has ever known anyone have.
All other bloods came back good too.
What a difference 6 months make.
Just wanted to share with you all

Well done to you Julie. I dream of getting rid of my diabetes-and coming off my diabetes, cholesterol and blood pressure meds.
Can I ask what your start weight was, how much you've lost, if you had bypass or band and how long you had had diabetes?

great news Julie, am so plesaed for you. Am keeping my fingers crossed that mine is the same. Doc has taken me off the diabetic and cholestrol meds but will review it after 3 months. Its a fantastic side effect of the WLS and I'm sure the NHS will start to see it as a way to lessen the health issues of diabetes.
