Hi everyone
Got a provisional date from my surgeons sectary of 22nd Nov my surgeon is Mr Ackroyd and I’m going in for the bypass..
The bumff about that fantastic milk and yogurt diet landed on the mat yesterday. and for the first time in ages I find myself wishing my life away to get to the date quicker . I feel like a kid a Christmas. I have loads running round in my mind but I have to say all thought are superseded by the thought of getting a normal life back.( well as normal as my life can be). Can’t wait for the mundane like finding something other than shoes that fit at Asda or fitting on a bus or plane seat how good will that be? If I can think of any this other than this drivel to ask I will. Its nice to know your out there.

Hi Al and welcome. How very exciting things are for you right now! Don't worry about getting excited about shoes or fitting in plane seats, it gets better than that. It's when you see collar bones sticking out, or realise someone you always walk behind is actually behind you and your waiting for them to catch you up. Or the excitement of going to the toilet and realising you can see your foo foo (or other bits ), it just gets better every week mate...
