Hiya everyone,I'm 5 weeks post op and ever since I've been on the puree stage food seems to go straight through me,within 30mins of eating I'm on the toilet,its putting me off eating anything. Has anyone else gone through this??xx

harsh to say it but be grateful as I went from that to completely the opposite once on solids!!!even now at 7mth out I need a weekly pill to help clear things!

I think it may be a reaction to having so little before. Like how people who have been starving gave to be slowly reintroduced to food so as not to shock their system too much.

thanks for the replies,i did go through the constipated stage on liquids so know what yous are saying BUT this is no better believe me,i can only eat anything in my own home as it literally goes straight through me,i may go back on the liquid stage for abit to see if it settles xx

Ring your provider if your worried Tracy, the only time I have had this is when I have eaten greek yoghurt (not fat free) and when I drink protein shakes - I now avoid them xx
