Millk, milk and more milk . . . . before the op I could happily drink pint after paint after pint . . . post op it tasted awful (creamy even though skimmed !) ~ I am pleased to say I can now like and can tolerate milk once again . . . xx
Milk has turned into a strange one for me sadly. Pre-op I absolutely loved milk and water but post-op I struggled to take in enough water as it made me nauseous. I resorted to drinking more milk to get my liquid in but it has been causing me a lot of wind. Bizarrely it settles my stomach but as it travels futher down it turns against me.
Sadly I think I might have developed lactose intolerance so have started to limit how much I drink for the time being. Really hoping it will settle down.
Skimmed milk is red top. Semi-skimmed is green top
Milk? Absolutely! I had milky coffees and even now, when I'm feeling 'peckish', I'll have a milky coffee. I tried a spoonful of drinking chocolate, but just found it too sweet post-op. Good news considering pre-op I'd make it with 3-4 heaped teaspoonfuls! lol!
