acid reflux

Hi guy's
its 11 weeks since bypass and everythings great. Took fast tabs for 8 weeks then bariatric nurse told me to stop as I didn't need them, but for the last 4 days I have been bothered by acid reflux 2-3 times during the day...is this normal and does anyone think I should be back on lansoperole,,I am seeing doc on tues but just wondered what your thoughts are, cheers for reading x

I was told by my surgeon that I should be on them for life so perhaps it would be a good idea to go back on them. If the symptoms vanish then you will know if you are doing the right thing. Hope you are feeling much better soon it is not a nice thing to have at all. (((((hugs)))))

I was only given them for six weeks. It just shows how things vary from hospital to hospital.

It will be interesting to hear what your doctor has to say about it. Keep us posted.
