Ok, I've got tickets to see a fairly roudy metal band in february about 2 weeks after my op. The tickets are in the seating area so I won't be in the mosh pit but I was just wondering if you would all think I'd be well enough by then to go? They were a Christmas present so we didn't know my op date then. I've seen this band before and although they're loud, the crowd in the seated area usually just stand up and dance and there's usually no rough stuff. My disabled mum is coming with us too. Your thoughts are very welcome.

hopefully you should be fine just take advantage of yr seat if needs be and listen to yr body. remember to take plenty of fluid with you and sip throughout.

hi going on my experience i wouldnt have been able to go to a concert 2 weeks after my op but i did have open. Not sure about key hole.
Good luck whatever you decied and all the best for your op x

I think your be fine but we are all different, im sure if you start feeling poorly you can always go home so if it were me i'd go xxx

Ooh I like Skunk Anansie but don't know much of their stuff. I'll be seeing contraversial German band Rammstein. My 64 year old mother loves them! lol

See how u feel nearer to the time and take it from there. enjoy it if u decide to go xx I agree with hopeless, listen to your body xx
All the the best - MeJulie x x
