Advice re funding meeting - providing other info

Hi All

Next Tuesday I have my last hospital appt before the PCT meeting the following day to decide my case. I am wondering whether it will strengthen my case to provide any written info for the panel such as an open letter detailing the progress I have made and my commitment etc?

What kind of hospital appointment are you referring to exactly?

It's the last of my weight management centre appts. The last one before the meeting to decide funding. I think on Tuesday I am just going to get weighed and possibly bloods because I have now met the weight loss target they set me last year.

In that case then yes I would write a letter for submission to the panel outlining your achievements to date and your ongoing commitment.

I would also outline/reiterate your reasons for wanting surgery - what difference it would make to your life (including any health benefits) x
