Hi Peeps,

Well done shelbel n others on your weight loss, cant find my original post so doin it here, Havent been online for ages as we had a house fire, which resulted in my daughter jumpin out the bedroom window n breakin her foot, so tyrin to get house sorted, unfortunately i didnt have house insurance(oopsie) but hey we learn by our mistakes.
What i wanted to ask is..... Ive been granted funding already, its there waiting
Ive already seen my consultant, lovely Mr Sedman, have got to see the dietician in Jan, then him again in feb,
was wondering if i rung them n told them ive already got funding id jump the queue quicker... what do you think??? I had to cancel my last appointment due to the fire buisness n workmen here.......

Hi Debi and welcome back. god what a time you have had lately.

i told my surgeon that i could take a cancellation appointment and was telephoned one day to have my op the next. they agreed to this as i didn't need a HD bed or anything so it's always worth trying!! good luck hun x

Sounds like a horrid time for you :hug99: I agree with Tammy, give the consultant's secretary a call and see if they have cancellation appointments. Explain that your fundings in place and that things have been delayed cos of the personal events in your life. Worst she can do is say no
