After the dietician appointment

Hi all, I am having my dietician appointment to start the pre-op diet on Wednesday. After the appointment, would you start the diet straight away, or Do I start on Monday, exactly 4 weeks before my operation? I am aware that I will find that out on Wednesday, but if I need to buy certain things, it would be helpful to know it now. Thanks.

Hi. They all differ depending on which hospital you goto. Mine was a 2 week pre op at Sunderland. Best stick with what your dietician says as most people on this site have had different advice. X

Same as above - all hospitals give out different diets for different durations and it will more than likely be specific for you according to your weight/BMI. It's unlikely you'll start it the same day as your appointment so you should have enough time to get stuff in. I had a week's notice
