Nope I'm staying in too just me and my daughter who's in bed, I'm watching pirates of the Caribbean then off to bed. I stay in every new years, come to think of it I can't remember the last time I was out on the drink or out of a night time bad considering in only 27 lol x x x

I am in too! Not done New Year really since me and ex broke up...
I am in with my son, daughter's gone out - we will all see new year in together and this year will be far more positiive than last xx

Nope I'm sat here with my two kids while the eldest is out with his gf. Think il be in bed for ten as kids on computers an the rubbish on the tv is doing nothing to stimulate me!
I didn't want it any other way, to be honest I feel quite depressed on nye for some reason always have I think it's because we expect it to be something it's not and have such high expectations of the year ahead maybe?
This year i am focusing on losing weight for surgery and having the surgery and I'm going to college in September to do my access to nursing with a view to doing midwifery at uni the following year.
My new year resolution is to be careful with my spending instead of frittering it away.

We never go out NYE. As we're Jewish we observe the Jewish New Year which is in September ish, but that's not time for a knees up either.

Who am I kidding, we're just too old and sad to do any celebrating any more lol!

Nope, we did have a booking for the hilton, Early check in-Afternoon tea, evening- 5 course meal and disco, morning-late buffet breakfast and late check out. Cancelled in November when I got my date as didn't know what to expect of myself 6 weeks post op. Hubby has been moaning now for 3 days that we shouldn't have cancelled!!! so now we're sitting in watching Footloose on film 4 +1, how sad is that?

im in aswell with my 12 year old daughter... now watching alan carr and chatting to you lovely people.... got a couple of sparklers which me and my daughter will light at midnight... outside lol and we usually shout happy new year to the street... then i guess off to be unless there is something good on telly lol.... having new years day (xmas dinner) at my parents tmro as im now on soft foods and christmas day it was pureed hehe... so i will have a little taste of everything xx

I'm the same, it is just another day/night for me. I still wish everybody the best for 2012 of course, but I wished that yesterday and will wish it on January 2nd too. So take care all, watch out on the roads with all the bonkers people about and dont make your new tummies work overtime !!

im not fussed about drinking either... i was a big drinker when i was younger and i got alcohol poisoning and had to have my stomach pumped... that is just the worst thing ever!! before op i would go out drinking about once every few weeks. being five weeks post op though dont think i will be trying alcohol for quiet a while yet.. then that will prob be a small glass of wine if im allowed.... maybe on my birthday... thats like august lol

I'm in too Caren. Switching between WLS and Facebook. Just had a girly bath and sat with hubby who is watching Robin Hood while I tap away on my laptop and drink flavoured water.

Sounds just like my house. My hubby is snoring, my 13 year old is playing with our 6 year old granddaughter, who is here for a sleep over. Took them to see Happy Feet 2 then had a table picnic for tea. I'd rather be in with family to be honest.

I'm in, and watching the fireworks online as they move West towards us. Sydney was spectacular. Looking forward to the Times Square celebrations in 7½ hours.
