Another Newbie

Hi im sam.
Im from barnsley and new to all this. I recently went to GP to ask for surgery and the funding was given im just now waiting for my nurses appointment so she can take weight, height, family hisory etc so it can be attached to the funding decision letter then hopefully its all go from there.
I was worried when the application for funding went in as i thought i had no chance as there are people who also has other health issues and i have nothing apart from BMI being just over 50. Is there anyone who has been under sheffield advise me what i can expect next.

hi,

im from sheffield, had my op at thornbury by mr patel 15 days ago.

all in all it took me just over a year from first going to docs to having my op, first there a seminar then app with surgeon then pre op, lucky for us in sheffield the waiting list at the moment is only 12 weeks.
