My son has been voted Deputy Headboy at his school.
The selection process for prefects was done by staff but the senior prefects and the Headboy/Girl, Deputy Headboy/Girl were voted on by the pupils as well as the staff.
I am sooo proud of him. For years I've seen all these articles about children being at a disadvantage if they are bought up by a single parent. Well, that's one in the eye to them (sorry, just a little gloat).
The highlight of the year will be a 'Leaders of Tomorrow' trip sponsored by local companies which is an 11 night trip to Washington DC and New York next Easter.
What with Uganda at Easter 2014 & now this he is becoming quite the seasoned traveller.
