Well I was told about a high divorce rate following WLS, and I am afraid to report that I am the next one.

We have had our ups and downs for a while now, but can't work through them anymore.

I don't think she likes the new me, how focussed I am and the extra attention I now get from lady friends.

Some have known me longer than she has.

One of the first questions I asked my provider was the stats about divorce (hubby joked at the time about the whole thing) I was genuine 100% worried a I had read about it, thankfully we have not faced the situation, my thoughts are with you.

self esteem, confidence increases the protective layers are stripped off. Sometimes it appears like we are different perhaps it's just the real us emerging, it's hard when they've known us for so long anaesthetised by food.

I'm sorry to hear your news . Sometimes when you've been with someone so long ,they don't like change they get used to you being you and you've done so well and you should be proud of yourself and if she can't see through that it's very sad . I'm sure it's going to be hard but you know you've done so well and we all here for you , you will get through it wether it happens or not . Sending you hugs and lots of support . x
