I may be talking rubbish but surely sugar free jelly made up with half hot water, half milk with an extra scoop of dried milk powder to boost the protein.
I don't know the levels you'd get that way but if nothing else I expect it's cheaper & a reasonable level of protein.
I've made milk jellies before but usually with condensed milk rather than milk milk. But these days I'd blend the milk powder or plain protein powder ( you could use flavoured if you have some the same flavour as the jelly but I find plain more flexible for sweet & savoury foods alike), only a tablespoon or two with a little milk to dissolve it then add more to about half a pint. I'd then dissolve the jelly crystals with hot water as per the instructions & then add the cold milk as you would normally add the cold water. I'd whisk it a bit to make sure it's all well blended pour into individual pots or one large one & allow it to set. I tend to use small pots about 100ml in each & then I had a clear idea of how to calculate the protein levels per pot. It's a sort of jelly blancmange & is lovely. You can add fruit to the mix to for a fruit & protein hit at the same time fresh or drained tinned ( in juice not syrup obviously).
