any1 heard of my consultant??

Hi all. i have been trying to read up on my consultant Mr K Patel as i have never heard of him but i just do not seem to be able to find anything out about him. Nurse at my pre-op assessment told me he has been at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital for over a year now and he came from a hospital in Hull before that. I am a little worried that i can not find anything on the net. xx

Hey!

I had my op at Sheffield Thornbury last year and I went to one of the support meetings and I *think* it was Mr Patel who led the meeting.

Mr Ackroyd did my operation, but I think Mr Patel does the same thing.

He seemed very nice and answered all my questions at the support meeting.

If its not the same fellow then i apologise but I seem to remember the name.

Hi I had my op at the Hallamshire with Mr Ackroyd. Mr Patel works with him getting the list down and I heard he's a very good surgeon. I'm sure he must be good because otherwise Mr Ackroyd would'nt have him work on his list of patients. Good luck with your op xxx
