Anybody having Gastric Sleeve at UCLH

Is anybody out there who is having a gastric sleeve or bypass at UCLH in October? Feel like I am doing the journey alone!

Hiya Mel I've been to the one stop at the uclh and now waiting to hear if I've been giving the funding. my consultant is Mr jenkins. Hi Cathy,

My consultant is My Jenkinson too!! I have had a REALLY long wait - but that's not normal! I have put on this site my story so far (link below). This tells you what a mission I have been through so far! It will be worth it though! I know somebody who is also at UCLH. She was referred in January 2011 and had her surgery 10th August 2011. It really does vary! If you want to chat PM me and we can talk there! Good luck with your surgery Mel and Cath, i didn't have mine there i had it at the Homerton (would have preferred UCLH as i attend specialist clinics there) and their care is second to none unlike the Homerton who's after care is very poor. I do have a friend on FB who had her surgery at the UCLH and she said it was a great experience and didn't have to wait long for the surgery at all xxx

Hiya guys I received a letter well it's a copy of the letter my consultant sent my GP it says they will discuss my case at the next available meeting!

Hopefully I hear from them soon fingers crossed
