Anyone Else Get....

Hi All

Since my bypass my tummy noises are so loud. I thought they would settle down buts it been almost a year and they are so loud.

I walk into a shop and my tummy goes GURGLE GURGLE and everyone close can hear it

Does this happen to you or does my tummy just need a azbo for noise polution

sorry frosty, I don't know the answer but will be interested to hear what the others say, I get a bypass in 6 weeks!!

Glad im not alone then maybe we could make a new age band up . call it the Gurglers

yep me too and it just seems to be getting louder. i was in a meeting the other day ans it really went for it. Worst is how loud i belch after eating suddenly with no control.

I'm 8 weeks post-op on Thursday and I agree, the noises are distracting lol. And the amount of gas I now produce (from both ends!) is so embarassing lol. Especially if I eat anything with carbs in.

Does anyone know if the gurgling and excess wind decreases, i have always assumed that once the excess stomach shrunk back that it would decrease

i know one woman who is 18months down the line and hers hasnt. lol
just waiting for mine to start in church one day.
