Hi,
I'm attending an NHS Weight Management Programme and the doctor there is going to refer me for a sleeve.
Here's the thing though. In 2005 I had a Nissen Fundoplication and hiatus hernia repair, done laparoscopically. This was done for really bad reflux and choking in my sleep on stomach contents, as the valve between oesophagus and stomach had failed. (All due to my weight, of course)
The doctor at the clinic seems to think that this prior surgery won't be a bar to having a sleeve, but I was wondering if any of you have been in this situation?
Looking forward to any replies.
