Hiya, just wanna say hi as iv just found this website tonight and I'm so glad I have as it's really put my mind at ease. Travelling from Northern Ireland so was a bit worried about a strange hospital and have been reassured by the comments iv read.

I am having a band fitted on 19th September on a pre op diet at present,they all vary so much my pre op is low carbs and low fat for 5 days ,really looking forward to it.
Lots of others will be on soon to welcome you.

Where are you having yours done .
I'me from Manchester having mine done at a fairly local place in Manchester the Ales Cheadle. Speak again soon Mia

Just wanted to say hi and welcome to minis its a great gang to be part of. I'm sorry i can't help with band questions as i had a bypass done Privately 5 weeks ago. Try not to worry too much about travelling, i travelled from Glasgow to Manchester and had great care in the hospital. There are a lot of experienced banders on here and i'm sure they will be along soon to help you out. Good luck for your op where are you having it done x
