Anyone use a rowing machine?

Hi everyone,

I am 6 months post gastric bypass op and 5 months 17 days away from my brothers wedding, gulp!

I have a treadmill and pilates machine which are great but feel I need to tone up my arms big time. When I watch The Biggest Loser the women always seem to get great arms and use the rowing machine a lot.

Never been on one but just thought I would ask if anyone uses it...what parts of the body it is good for etc?

I always use it as part of my cardio, I like interval training on it, going as fast as I can for 30 secs then slow down for 30 secs and repeat for 20 mins. Great for arms, shoulders, pecs, thighs and tums.Lower back, I think also bottoms. I think it also counts as strength training. Go for it.x
