My lovely hubby announced this morning that I'm no longer snoring. I wish the same could be said for him! :8855:

Anyone else experienced a 'surprise' side effect from weight loss?

Hope you are all well x

Hey! I started to snore a while back and since losing six stone (and having to share a bed with my mum when we were on holiday) ive now been told that im as quiet as a mouse!

didnt realise my weight was affecting my lungs so badly before! yayy for us :) xx

I was using a cpap machine for sleep apnoea (and snoring) but within 2 weeks of surgery stoppped using it, and no longer snore :D

I too no longer snore and am only just over 3 weeks post op I also no longer have nights where I cannot sleep I go off like a log and do not wake all night (hope it keeps up fingers crossed)

My husband told me I stopped snoring the night I came home from hospital after op - surgery was an instant cure!

Im the same, husband says I haven't snored since I was discharged after the op. For the first couple of months he kept waking me up to check I was still breathing.

i wish i could stop snoring! i am like a wild animal thats been caged my snoring is sooo awful! I dont feel as bad when i wake up anymore i think its from the lack of chins weighing down on my wind pipe lol!

My PCOS is cured :D never in a million years did I expect that one.

Were you ever tested for sleep apnoea?

I dont snore so that wasnt a problem but PCOS is the biggest deal for me. My husband and I are desperate for more babies (we have 1 but want 4) So im hoping, like you guys, mine disappears!!!
That was the biggest push for me to have surgery in the first place so fingers and toes crossed :)

One would do me :) been trying 9 years :(

I had my girlie pre op so I can't really help there but I do know many people who have had babies post op.

we tried for a baby unsuccessfully for about 18 months it was one of the main factors which led me down the path of wls x x
