Not been on for a while, had few injuries which stopped me going to the gym. well ball is now def rolling as i had my 2 appts through from st georges one on 8th march and one 12th april, i had my group meeting in may last year, and was told that it would be a year before hearing about appts. and good news as well i will going back to the gym this week. so joining the waiting list after appts does that possibly mean surgery this year? or am i hoping/wishing too much

are you feeling better today Kate x

You should get your surgery this year, the second appointment should be with the surgeon and he will put you forward to the board, which takes place every wednesday. If its a yes then you will hear very soon after and be put on the waiting list.

the 8th march is with bariatric team 10th april is dietetic team

Ok, My appointments were the other way around, dietician 1st then bariatric team. I saw the surgeon during the bariatric appointment. The surgeon told me as long as my bmi was 50 or over, funding was automatically granted. My bmi was 49 so he told me to re book for 2 months time and put on 6lbs!! I did this and was accepted for surgery.
