Janey, that is just totally awesome. Its hard to imagine what a difference this surgery must have made to your life.

You still seem to be losing well even this far out of surgery. Any secrets you can share?

Thanks all i decided from the begining that i would make this surgery work for me so i eat healthly whenever possible. I have 4 meals a day with 2 snacks(which is fruit). I dont touch sweets or chocolate because i know even now i would not be able to stop once i started to eat them. My meals are no bigger than a side plate and everything is low fat. I do walk a lot sometimes up to 20,000 paces a day which i think burns the calories off. However i am starting to worry a little how fast i am still loosing as you can imagine i have a lot of loose skin and i currently weigh 11 stone allowing 1 stone in excess skin i think i must weigh about 10 stone i dont think i want to loose much more though. Janey:rolleyes:

might be time to start upping the calories Janey. Why not call the dietician at the manor and see if she can offer any advice x

Fantastic news Janey but you are right need to start pulling out now as the loose skin will weigh at least a stone. The plastics on me removed over 15lbs from arms and tum and still got thighs to go. As Sam said might need to up calories and carbs for a while and see how it goes.

Good luck you have done marvellously

I would Sam the only thing is dr khan has discharged me and is refering me to dr lahbib in Russels hall but i have not heard anything from them as yet so not sure who i come under to ask for advice. Would welcome any suggestions. It has been about 2 months since i saw dr khan. Janey:confused:

Have you really been discharged already? I thought we were meant to have 2 years aftercare, but perhaps its a different arrangement for patients that have come via Russells Hall.

Is there a dietician at your GP surgery?

In the meantime, I would start to up your calories and carbs a little at a time till you find the right level to prevent you losing.

Youve done absolutely brilliant Janey. Im in complete awe of all you have achieved. xx

Wow Janey! Fantastic achievement. You have true dedication and deserve all you have accomplished. A true inspiration. xx
