Back from Birmingham ....................

For another band fill, I hate going to Birmingham for anything else other than shopping :sigh:

Horrid place to drive to and around, so I get stressed driving there,which is not good when getting a fill. Setting off an hour and a half before my appointment to travel the 25 miles, might be on time but who knows with the traffic grrrrrrrr

Will let you know how I got on when I get back! x

Im back! and Imnow sipping my skinny frappuccino from starbucks on the way home.

AlthoughI havent lost any weight since my last appointment I have (my body) converted 5lbs of fat to muscle! Wow Im a (sort of lean) fat burning machine! lol

After today 2 more days of liquid, then 3 of sloppies and back to normal foodon Tuesday!

When I am back on solid food Im going to buy a ramakin bacause thats the size veg/saladportion I need to aim for along with my fist sized portion of protein.

No more serving too much, leaving some and then going back - I had slipped into this habbit a teeny bit!

Serve what I should eat and if I cant the dogs get it!

I do want to lose some more but if I dont then I dont. I reached my initial target of getting to a healthy BMI but I think without the fill I would have struggled to maintain and didnt want to gain!

I love starbucks, I know where they all are on the M1 and M6 lol

It is tomorrow yes, im so curious to know whats happening im in no pain quite the opposite its like someone has lifted my band from me and it has disappeared, ive took advantage of the fact just with water ive really missed being able to drink a whole glass of water straight down with out taking a mouthfull stop burp another mouthfull you know the senario ill let you know tomorrow what they say im guessing they will draw out my fluid it wont all be in there they will sent me for a xray fill and take it from there?! enjoy your sloppies for a few days !! xx

Birmingham is horrid to drive around...

On a brighter note our Starbucks has 'Frappy Hour' half price frappucinos on a Saturday afternoon. And yes we went , we brought and we loved it.. Cream would have been good on top but hey we can't have everything xx

Hello Julie - yep its horrid, some of the flyovers scare the bejesus out of me and I drive a lot!

Im loving the frappuccinos - Im fine with the no cream and always have skimmed milk but I did have the mocha syrup (light of course lol) x x

I know how you feel, for my fills I have to drive to Bristol and all around the city centre. It takes about an hour to get there and I always accidently get in a wrong lane. I find big city driving quite scary!
When I get home I always feel a big sense of acheivement and relief that it's over for a month.

Bristol, yep thats pretty bad too. I was meeting a colleague at our office once and it took me ages to navigate to it!
