Home from endoscope op. a bit shocked as surgeon says I didn't need a stretch after all. Everything is fine & healthy (no ulcer thankfully) but there is a small angulation in the middle of my stomach which could account for me not keeping food down!?!? Nothing to worry about?!?
He has prescribed some anti sickness pills to assist my desire to bring up my food.
He said I need to be patient as it will over time get better & natural stretch. In the mean time carry on with what I am doing & avoid pasta , bread, rice & carbs ( do this anyway!) & go for soft foods.
Feeling a little groggy but glad nothing seriously wrong & will try to be less anxious when I eat. This may also be contributing to my problem.

That's good news , half the battle sorted . Hope you can approach eating in a more relaxed manner now xx

Although not the perfect answer for you, at least a much much better answer than ulcers and the what-not that would have been going through your mind. I hope it gets easier for you now you know what it is.

Glad to hear this BD, although it would almost have been easier if it was just a physical issue! Take it easy hon.

Oh what a relief. I can imagine that's a great weight off your mind.
There's still lots to be thankful for and positive.
Just keep inspiring us Bellydancer57

Guys - interesting telephone conversation with one of my pals last night. I was telling how I got on at the hospital & my anxiousness about my stall in weight loss etc. she said that she couldn't believe I needed to loose any more weight coz when she saw me I looked 'normal' & not a women who was overweight or had a weight problem. I was actually quite shocked & it kinda made me think about what she said. I am so focused on the 'numbers' & self-set targets I think I've kinda lost the plot. Loosing so much weight so fast is a bit of a life changing thing & I think my head hasn't caught up with my physical changes. I know many of you have discussed this on the forum before but I thought I was in control of mine. Last night for the first time I had to re- evaluate. Thx to my pal I am feel quite rejuvenated today & positive going forward. Wow this weight loss journey is so interesting yet challenging. Couldn't do it without you guys. Thx

Am glad you are feeling that way, sometimes I think we do get so stuck in being careful or weights and measures that we often cannot see it ourselves.

U r so right. The mind is a strange 'organ' & we often don't give it as much respect as it deserves.
