hello all ive gone back to work today i was 5 weeks post op yesterday and had it a bit rough i had an internal bleed and needed 4 pints of blood and 3 water infections, but i feel really ok which i was quite surprised i though i would have been a sleep at my desk lol xxxxxxx:bliss:

My god what a rough time of it you had glad you got on ok.
I'm back to work Thursday 4 weeks post op I hope I get on as well as you x

I'm seeing my doc tomorrow. One month since my op but he wants to see me before I go back, although I don't know if I'm ready.
I'm having big problems with No 2's!! and think it could be an impacted bowel so need to talk to him about that and get some glycerin suppositories (my bariatric nurse has recommended this!) The thought of going to work and sitting on the loo for an hour at a time (and then being in pain sitting down all day) is not appealing! At least at home I can sit/lie comfortably on my own sofa!

But glad you're getting on ok and good luck back at work!

hi karen you must get really well before you go back and the no 2 problem is awful try prunes everyday that normally sorts me out xx
