Bad breath???

Ok so I had the sleeve done 2 weeks ago and I am starting to have a really bad taste in my month!! And my husband told me that my breath stinks!!! Omg!! He said that he has never smelled it before. As soon as I drink a sip of protein I can taste it. Has anyone else had this??

Hi Honey, Oral thrush is very common post op your GP could soon tell you if this is the case & prescribe some anti biotics to sort it. Hope it soon gets better for you xxx

I think my bad breath lasted about a month post op,well I hope it's gone,lol

it could also be ketones in your breath, these have a sickly chemically smell, when you eat carbs it will go.

im four weeks post op and for first couple of weeks especially liquid stage.. my breath was horrid!!

Thanks everyone..they told me I could start eating food so I didnt have a protein shake shake today and I didn't have it!! We will see tomorrow. Just wanted to make sure it was from the diet and weight loss.
