Welcome home honey. Congrats on getting your band fitted - I hope it works for you hon.

Can't answer your question because everyone is different I was in pain for 6 weeks.

Best of luck though .. keep on with the pain killers and gripe water. x

Well Done on having your band fitted. Should only be a few days when you might feel like you`ve been in a Rugby scrum, take painkillers; it gets a little better each day. By the end of the first week I was feeling a lot better, and I sure you will too!

Take care hun x

Best wishes & love Kat x

I had the operation at 11am and was back by 1pm. I think I was a while in recovery tho coz the op is only half hour to an hour.

Congratulations, welcome home, and welcome to the Losers' bench too! xxxxxx

Dont be afraid of taking the pain relief - anything that helps your recovery is good. Take care x

Welcome to the losing team sweetheart. The pain you feel now will all be forgotten once the weight starts dropping. Steady movement is a good pain relief too and really helps shift the trapped wind you'll be feeling especially in the shoulders. Good luck on your journey to slimville xx

hi good luck with your weight loss journey x

my op is on wednesday i am so looking forward to it

Good luck and every good wish on your wls journey... love and hugs xxx

I would give you a little advice - take the meds because you will feel better, walk as much as you can but be sensible and take it easy for the rest of the time. I guarantee every day will be better and by the end of the week you will feel very different to how you feel now. Then you can start to enjoy the weight loss and the feelings are GREAT!! Try to focus on that when you are feeling the pain and it will help. I kept looking on next and M and S websites at all the clothes I would buy if I were slim. It kept me going.
Keep your chin up and ask anything you need to. There is always plenty of support and excellent advice around on here
Loads of love

The pain will pass xxx Take the pain meds and wind relief and have lots of snoozing mixed with gentle walking round the room this week and see how you feel next week... we are all different x
Don't worry about doing too much yet as your body has just had a big old shock x
