Band Removed

Yesterday I had my band removed due to various problems since it was put in.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has had a gastric band that failed and what recovery was like? Also did your body return to "normal"?

I think @Mazza had a band removed but my memory is poor today so I may be wrong.

You are correct @starryeyed, I did indeed have my band removed, in January this year.

@laurawls, I recovered from the op really quickly. I went on to have a sleeve in September and the surgeon said I had lots of scar tissue from the band, so thats eight months later!

Are you having another op?

ITS OUT I have never felt so happy and good!!
Slowly returning to normal. No more operations for me.
