I change my pictures frequently, sometimes I have me up ..but I am still in a zippy mood lol.
to be honest I don't think I have a full length photo of me where I am not hiding behind something...

Had to get hubby to take this one specially for my pre-op record as the last photo I actually posed for was on my wedding day in August 2001 - I didn't mind that as I was 8.1/2 months pregnant psml !!

Ahhh thanks Bouncy - or are you saying I'm rounder than one ?????? I don't mind being 'Po' as I am only short.

You can't be 'Po' because I am! LOL! Well done on putting your photo on.....and when you have your op and watch the weight fall off, you'll be so glad you had this taken.

I too had to have photos taken specifically because I avoided the camera at all costs pre-op. I'm not quite so camera-shy now though.

I think we all shy away from the camera when we are pre-op! Ive hardly got any of me really and like Lisa said Im usually hiding behind something.....like a house

I'm trying to get together a scrapbook record of my weighloss with piccies and my measurements, what I'm eating and feeling so I can look back and see how I've progressed. Having photos taken is painful and as for my measurements eeeeeekkk !!
Should be lining out and insulating my scrappy shed tomorrow so hopefully I'll be in there next week so my 4 week liquid diet will be easier if I'm out of the house.

Angela, just remember every time you look at this photo that it gets better (for you - cos i personally see nothing wrong with your pic) and better. The weight may fly off, or like me it might be slow and steady, but either way the next pic you take you will see a difference and before you know it you'll be asking someone to take your pic xxx

Angela well done for posting your photo. I too did not have my photo taken for years but braved a couple while I was on the pre op diet. You are a bit the same shape as I was (apple I think they call it!! . . I think I was a cooking apple!) but with our shape I think the weight loss is most noticeable. I need to update my pictures again but the fact that I no longer have such a tummy must do wonders for our health and general life expectancy.

You go girl - wls rocks!! I will follow your journey with interest xxx

Well done Angela - we all think our photos are a lot worse than they actually are....of course we`re our own worse critics! Your pic is fine, I had some taken of me in the garden last summer, just before I started my journey; I will have to get o/h to sort them out for me so I can post on here.......then we really are talking teletubbies...and I`m a wee bit shorter than a tall lady like you!

Don't worry about the pic, you are in a safe non-critical environment here & as Kat just mentioned, we are our own worst critics anyway! Do keep up with a record of picture-taking & recording those measurements though, because you will find them invaluable to look back on & reflect over, so you can see just how far you have come. I think one thing that is very common after WLS, is that the individual rarely appreciates mentally how well they have done & how different they look...it will be inspiring! xxx

I am a strange shape as my legs and arms are still relatively slim - it's all on my belly !!

I am the same as you Angela..I carry mine all around my tummy...the rest is ok..
I get asked often if I am expecting!!!!
I will be taking pictures but.....naked ones!!!so I cant show them to anyone haha ..ok i will have one full clothed one where i am not hiding behind something...

lol Lisa I did contemplate naked photos but when I looked at myself in the mirror the sight of my nipples balancing on my knees kinda put me off !!!
