Being banded... Today

Hello everyone :wave_cry:

my names Laura and today is the first day of the rest of my life!
i have lost 9lbs on my 10 day pre-op diet and i'm making my way to the Claremont Hospital in Sheffield for my 2pm chec in!

i can't tell you how relieved i am that this is actually happening

It is a very big day, and a hugely positive one too! Just relax and enjoy the ride I am 5 days post-op and already feeling great. Keep us posted on how you get on. All the best wishes

well i'm home now very sore and tired having woken up every half hour through the night. i'm so emotional today it feels like i'm dreaming!! x

I was exactly the same on Monday chick I sat and sobbed my little heart out due to pain and wind pain I promise you it gets a little easier everyday xx

Take it easy it's v early days. I was banded at Claremont too...mind you it's all over so quick you'd hardly know! you might be groggy this next week or even two but it'll be worth it x
