Being referred!

Spoke to my doctor today and I am being referred to Dr Sedman in Hull for Surgery! I am so excited! My BMI is over 50 so I automatically qualify for funding!

Hurrah! The Local PCT has an 18 week pathway for surgery so I am hoping should be operated on by mid august!

I wish it was like that at my pct. Here we get referred and have to wait to see if we get funding. I should find out in a few weeks but got my fingers crossed. My area has a brilliant support group you should shout out and see if there is a meetings near you. I went to one last week and it answered so many questions xx
