Bio oil/rescue oil

candie

fabby not flabby :)
I used Bio oil after my last op to fade the scars, but found it expensive to buy all the time.Recently I discovered rescue oil which imo is exactly the same at a fraction of the cost;);)
Just thought i'd let all the post op buddies know:D:D

I get my bio-oil in costco. A big one there is the same price as a small one in the shops ;)

i just used baby oil on mine and all my scars are white now :)

Get it from Home Bargains hun, it's only 2 quid!!:D

Interesting about Costco - I've been thinking of joining through my son's business - but his business has nothing to do with catering. Will I still be able to join? Mxx

I'd never heard of Rescue Oil so I Googled it - apparently you can get it from Wilkinson's. Really cheap. Zxx

Yes. With Costco you have to pay an annual membership, and can have up to 12 cards I think it is. The initial membership is about £25 a year for two people (you get a 'spouse' card but it can be for anyone). They guarantee the membership and say if you don't feel you've saved the cost of your membership in the year they will refund it.

Makro is free to join, and a bit larger generally, with more product range.

I joined both with my charity project, and am so glad I did. I wouldn't be able to do it now as I am under a larger charity, but renewal is simple and doesn't involve having to evidence each year so I can just carry on being a member!
