Hi everyone, I have seen the adverts for bio oil, but I just wanted to know if anyone has actually used it and DOES it WORK!! I'm thinking of using it on my scars and to help my skin stay elastic whilst losing weight

I have bought a cheaper version of it from B&M think it was £1.99 a chemist told me it has the same ingrdients dont no if it works yet not tried it

Well, I should imagine so but it would end up all sweet tasting and prolly orange coloured! :p

Erm... I know nowt about bio oil, but look at your new pic mrs, swit swoo... you look gorgeous

I used bio-oil every day after my op and I just now have a faint white line running down my middle. I also used after I had my appendix out and that scar is barely visable now (4 years ago) I only really use it once a week now because it's a bit on the dear side, unless you only used it for your scar I guess - I slathered it on everywhere as it also really helps with dry skin xx

i was told baby oil does the same thing.

If anyone has a costco card its considerably cheaper there. You get a biiiiig bottle for the same price as a little one in normal shops.

I used it in both my pregnancies, slathered it on and didn't get a single strechmark! It's fabulous stuff x

I have been using it on my skin for ages (great for bust/chest area) and after op started using it on scars too - one of them is almost invisible already - so I'm a fan. It was on 3 for 2 last year in Boots so i stocked up!

Thanks for your replies, I have just bought 2 200ml bottles for £20 with free delivery x x

i have never used Bio oil... but i used Emu oil and Snail cream for my nosejob scar and i can tell you that both worked perfectly :) i put it on at night only, before going to sleep.

LOL!!! i know the idea its just horrid! but the cream is excellent for scars, spots and stretch marks.

The Emu oil in the other hand is very similar to human oil, in the past human oil was used for scars ( i knoooooooooooow!!! so gross!!! and so much worse than the snail stuff! lol) works great for scars, stretch marks and moisturizer.

here is more info...
