Steady fellas the feathered kind not page 3. Having turned into a bird watcher on holidays in France, today I went on a Beginners bird watching walk. Armed with my binoculars & book ( yeah worried I looked like a geek) I joined lots of other newbies on an RSPB reserve & spent a most enjoyable morning. Not bad for a city chick. As a bonus we walked 3 miles so great exercise too. I could not have walked from the car park to the entrance 6 months ago!
Does this make me a twitcher? Move over Kate Humble!

I will doff my tweed hat and say yes!! We have a lovely protected bluebell woods nearby with a lovely lake where lots of twitchers meet - all with binoculars and some with a book!!! Congratulations on the walking part - lovely to feel energised again, I do already and only 2 weeks post op. Hope it lasts!
