Bleeding

Anyone else had this, was bypassed a fortnight ago.

Have thrown up red blood a couple of times today, probably only a drop but with the saliva it makes it look more than it is?

Happy just to ignore it as not in any extra pain, just wondered if anyone else had had this?

Why on earth would you be happy to ignore it?? Id be ringing nhs direct for medical advice

Is it fresh blood? Do you have any pain in your throat or your chest? This is not something to ignore.

You need to seek medical advice ASAP! If your provider has an emergency number, ring it now!! If not dial 111 now!!

Nope, not a wind up.

Contacted my surgeon, no need to panic, just a small amount if blood and to keep taking anti acid tablets. Monitor.

I' m not one for rushing off to A& E, probably not a good attribute to be so chilled about these things.

Good all is well. When it comes to surgery, always good to check with the surgeons with little commplications
