Well it’s a week since my by-pass now and I’ve been blending like a mad man. Stared out with scrambled eggs, ok but not to tasty in purée so I added a little lean gammon Mmmmm bacon and eggs. I reduced a few stews and big soup tastes nice. The blender struggled a bit with smoked salmon and low fat cream cheese with a pinch of salt and pepped, (Not too much smoke though) But the results where worth it.
Now in a couple of weeks with luck and a fair wind I’ll be on soft solids. So I’m thinking ahead and Christmas dinner. So I need all you oldies who had your op before last Christmas to check back and let me know were I can get a blender that will take a twenty six pound turkey?
