Bloated

Hi all!
I am now 4 days post op. feeling really good. Not too much wind pain. The only thing is that I am VERY bloated. So bloated in fact that I cannot put my trousers! I cannot close them! They fitted me fine before the op.
Is it something that you also experienced and when is it likely to go?

yes I had this, a lot of it is swelling I think from the op. It will calm down eventually.

Hello this will be the gas they used during the surgery , I had the same thing it will pass soon - BD x

It will ease and go away, but its quite a horrible feeling in the meantime.

Hi,
I am also 4 days post op. And also a bit bloated, but every day I can see it going down a tiny bit. Within a week we should be alright. Drink plenty of peppermint tea, that's supposed to help. xx
