Blooming typical ...

I started back on the healthy eating on Saturday, and have come down with a really yucky coldy bug :sick: so much for all the fruit and veg I have consumed lol ..

Staying in bed today .. i have the shivers and shakes and a blooming fever .. so whats the old advice about fevers? do I starve it or feed it ?

I'd offer the same advice as Charis...eat if you feel up to it but keep up with plenty of fluids. I bought some Echinachea which I started taking a few weeks before my op, to ward off any nasty germs that might delay me having it. Now, it may well have been the placebo effect, but I managed to avoid catching plenty of colds & flu doing the rounds at my workplace. Just a thought....hope you feel better soon xxx

Thanks all, not moved from my bed today apart from going down to make a cuppa a couple of times .. Hubby is home now, and I know I will be looked after now .. hopefully tomorrow I will feel better ..

I hate these bugs .. used to be able to work through them now they floor me properly!!
