Has anyone else been getting more bruises since surgery?I am literally black and blue all over my arms and legs at the moment, and seem to bruise way too easily.I am taking all my vits and iron, and will go to the docs with this but just wondered if anyone else is the same

I was going to post about the same thing. I bruise like soft fruit since the op, my legs are almost always peppered with bruises. All of my blood levels are fine so Im guessing that it is something to do with less padding or something.
Im definately with you on this one, more on my legs than anywhere else.

I have to agree!

Its the first time in years I have the confidence to get my legs out, and now they are black and blue with bruises!!!

I know I'm on the floor a lot with my job (I work with pre-5's!), but I have never been as bruised as I am right now!

More on my legs than anywhere else though.

yep I noticed again last night 5 bruises just on one leg No idea where Im getting them from

Phew i'm glad some of you are experiencing the same thingMy new bf noticed them at weekend and said he was worried, and it started me offAm going for a check up on Monday so i'll ask the nurse then

Hi,

As its seams to be a problem not restricted to just me, I will talk to my surgeon about it tonight. As I am helping him put on an Open Evening at a local private hospital.

That's if I can remember!!!

I had also thought it might have something to do with blood levels (or anemia), but I had them done last week and I won't get the results till next Friday.

Its only because of the lovely weather we've been having (except its throwing it down today!), that I've even noticed it becoming a problem.

Me too I'm covered in them. The docs checked verything known to man in case I had something weird in my bloods but no all perfick. Can't understand it

I think i'll request more blood tests, just to be on the safe side
