Hi everyone - I'm back!!!
I havent been online since my op (Monday 27th Sept) 3 weeks and 2 days ago.
After all my worries and crying and yes ..... tantrums too i had the Gastric Bypass. Everythings gone fine - one of my scars has been stapled to form a "crease" which has been very uncomfortable and still gives me a bit of "jip".
I can eat a full weetabix drowned in milk, i have been having soups of all descriptions blended down. Still on the puree stage, love having chocolate options/ milky coffee and fresh orange juice. I have also been walking but finding i start off with great gusto then start slowing down which is very inconvenient!!
Because of my "crease" i only started driving this week and I feel my independence is back .
So sorry all for not coming back on line straight away but have had that many visitors and walking i feel i finally have my life back !!!
FYI - i only need to lose 2lb i have lost 3 stone wooo hoooo
so for anyone out there still panicking about having the op - go for it!!!!!
