burping, belching and terrible tummy growls

hi all,
since being banded 6 weeks ago i've had a lot of burping and belching and the loudest tummy rumbling:479: ooh its awful especially when i'm talking to someone. this also happens when ive not eaten . is this normal with the band?

Yes this is quite normal. I still get it too this day and I am almost 2 years post op - Its just your fluid/food going down ur band - bit like water going down a plug hole. Dont worry hun xx

I'm bypass, but this is why I've called my pouch my little wookie. He makes aweful noises when he's not happy and purrs when I feed him something good.

Im 2 weeks post op - gastric band....and yes, I get the gurgling...belly noises...when ive not eaten its louder....when ive eaten its different noises while its all processing in my body lol....I get loads of burps and farts too

Wind all over....its the only downside to the band so far...but im getting used to it

Yip, I get it too, sounds like a drain emptying and very loud. Im 7 weeks out and was wondering if it get quieter as time goes on but doesn't look like it.

LOL I've got a sleeve & have experienced the same. Sometimes sounds like I've got a wild animal inside me! Feels weird too. But the weight loss & health benefits more thn make up for any inconvenience.
